Digital literacy is key to unlocking the value of online resources  LTG researchers have authored a report on the impact of Open Educational Resources. Findings highlight the need to support learners and academic staff alike in the referencing and the reuse of online resources. The report was commissioned by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), and authored by by Liz Masterman and Joanna Wild.

Events and venue

Another successful year for ITLP courses, with around 3400 people, coming along to an average of 3 topics each, with one determined individual attending 65 different sessions. 2500  people attended our special events and inductions.

Uptake of e-learning

Dr Jill Fresen’s paper presented at the LAMS conference (July 2010) and the EDEN conference (Budapest, Oct 2010) has been published in a special edition of the Teaching English with Technology Journal and will appear in the next LAMS book edited by James Dalziel et al.
