Matterhorn unconference

This week LTG is hosting the first Matterhorn OpenCast unconference. Matterhorn is a free, open-source platform to support the management of educational audio and video content. Institutions will use Matterhorn to produce lecture recordings, manage existing video, serve designated distribution channels, and provide user interfaces to engage students with educational videos.

Liz Masterman and Joanna Wild, researchers in the LTG, presented a paper at the annual BERA conference . They argued for the importance of considering cultural, historical and institutional context when researching how teachers and learners engage with learning technology, giving examples from two major LTG research projects: Thema and LDSE.
